True Sons

We have not fought with sword or spear,
But battle has, to us, come near,
And we will stand for truth and right!
And take up arms to join the fight!

We cannot doubt! Our mothers know!
They taught us God protects His fold!
We do not fear for death, or end,
Our God above us will defend!

Our mothers’ words our strength will be,
And for our fathers’ memory,
Who died for peace, courageously,
That we, like them, true men might be.
