The Light in the Darkness

 

Oh Lord! at this, the end of day,
As sunlight wanes, and slips away,
As darkness creeps to fill the night,
To blind me- rob me of my sight-

Thy Spirit’s Lantern- Leave with me!
Within my heart, that I may see,
And feel the warmth inside me burn,
Until The Son again returns!
